Project Description:

Professor Izhak Bucher is interested in vibration, and in this project for acoustic flotation using Piezo motor vibrates ~30KHz, which generates air cushion above.

In this project we developed SiC MOSFET Piezo motor amplifier to over-come the associated problems of analog or transformer based low efficiency limited power amplifiers.

By adding internal sensors for Piezo voltage and current and optional accelerometer we could enhance it into FPGA controlled close loop drive.
